Grown in the fertile soil of Malatya, the region that produces most of the world's dried apricots. Offered sulfured, with the bright orange color, or naturally sun-dried, with the deep brown color — whole, diced or as kernel.
Anatolian apricots are naturally dense in vitamins, fiber and energy — which is why they sell as a health snack as readily as a bakery ingredient. Every claim below is taken from the producer's own product descriptions.
Whole sundried and diced apricots alike are described as packed with vitamins — the reason they read as a wellness snack, not a confection.
Naturally high in fiber, which is what makes dried apricot a staple of breakfast cereals, bars and trail mixes.
The sweetness is the fruit's own. Diced apricots are rich in natural energy, and the sundried whole fruit is offered as a delicious way to boost energy and well-being.
Apricot kernels are nutrient-dense and rich in healthy fats, vitamins and minerals — a slightly nutty note for smoothies, salads and snacking.
Fruit gathered from the mountains of Anatolia in its most natural state, small batch crafted under the supervision of food engineers — a marmalade heritage that began in 1975 in the Merzifon district of Amasya. Each fruit comes as an organic, traditional or natural marmalade, in 1.41–14.11 oz jars and 2.5–20 kg pails.
Hand-selected Aegean olives, first cold press, purely mechanical extraction — no heat, no additives. A rich, distinct, earthy flavor for drizzling, salads, mezze and everyday cooking.
THE PRODUCER AND THE DISTRIBUTOR
The producer’s story began in 1982, trading dried apricots in the Darende district of Malatya — the region that grows most of the world’s dried apricots. By 1992 the next generation had taken the business over and begun exporting under its own name, and in 2010 it was established as a dried food and kernels company. It sells as the producer, not an intermediary.
AdaViano brings that portfolio to the United States. We hold one portfolio — fifteen products across apricots, marmalades and olive oil — and sell it here: quotations, samples, certificates, orders and delivery.
Dried apricots are grown mainly in Malatya, which accounts for 85% of world production. Treated with sulfur they keep their bright orange color; dried naturally they turn brown and take on a different texture.
The marmalade line goes back to rosehip marmalade cooked in traditional cauldrons over wood fire in the Merzifon district of Amasya. The same recipes are still small batch crafted from wild-harvested fruit gathered in its most natural state.
The business began in a small shop in the Darende district, trading dried apricots, and became a pioneer of that trade in the Turkish market. Exports under its own name followed in 1992, and the present company in 2010.
ISO 9001, ISO 22000:2018 and FSSC 22000 are held at the producer. AdaViano keeps the pack on file and sends it with every quotation.
HOW WE WORK
The producer behind every offer is evaluated on quality, delivery capability and consistency, and we represent only that one house — so you buy the producer’s own output, judged before it is offered.
Terms are negotiated and the agreement is structured to protect your interests — priced per product, grade and quantity, in dollars.
You review a sample against the spec and receive the producer’s certificates and the analysis for the lot before you commit to the order.
Your order is placed with AdaViano and scheduled against production or available stock — one purchase order, one invoice, one point of contact.
Goods are delivered to your warehouse or store, and the same contact stays with the account for repeat orders, quality questions and forecasting.
QUALITY
The certificates belong to the producer: ISO 9001, ISO 22000:2018 and FSSC 22000 are issued to the producer. AdaViano keeps the pack on file and sends it with the sample, together with the certificate of analysis for the lot.
